When Geralt returned to town, Triss asked him to help retrieve her body and give it a proper burial. She died in hideous agony, screaming curses against Radovid and his kingdom that echoed through the streets of Novigrad. Radovid laughed in her face, arrested Keira and had her impaled on a pike. But she forgot one important detail - never deal with a devil, and especially not a devil backed by armies and with a fierce hatred of sorceresses. She was counting on obtaining a royal amnesty in return for the possibility the plague could be turned into a weapon to wield against Radovid's enemies. With the notes on the plague she took from Mouse Tower in hand, she presented herself to King Radovid. If you'd rather persist in finding her body, shrug Margrit off and inspect the dead dog. She'll attempt to pay you if you tell Niellen that you found her dead in the woods, to which you'll be awarded 72 XP for the bribe and 25 for telling him, and will get 55 crowns for the bribe, and an extra 10 for telling Niellen. Defeat them all and take care not to get cornered by their numbers.Īt this point, a highly suspicious Margrit will approach you and ask you to stop looking, out of concern for Niellen's sanity. As you enter the quest area, you'll see a large group of Wolves around a dead dog. The children she took care of at the Blacksmiths will also tell you they saw her entering the forest with another woman.įrom Blackbough, head North into the woods and follow the long trail up past the Pellar's hut and into the deeper part of the woods. Speaking to the butcher's wife, you'll learn that the wolves in the woods have been acting up, which is most likely where she met her end. His wife's sister Margrit also has no clue where she could have gone, but points you towards two people she was close to. His wife disappeared one night, most likely in the woods near town. Head to the town, which is just Northwest of Crow's Perch, and find the man named Niellen.
